Suitable for girl or boy, the puckered ruched fabric is sweet and delicate without all the fuss. 

Garter stitch eyelet rows are worked in a smaller needle, which separate the ruching. 

finished size:  approximately 26” x 30” 

gauge:   5.5 sts over 4 inches in stockinette stitch using larger needle

yarn:  8 skeins weepaca by Big Bad Wool [50% fine washable merino/50% baby alpaca; 95 yds / 86 m]  

tools: size 6 (4 mm) 24” or longer circular needle, size 7 (4.5mm) 24” or longer circular needle or needle size to obtain gauge for ruched sections.   tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
